New academic opportunities from the UNCTAD Virtual Institute network

The Fourth Doctoral School on Latin American, European and Comparative Regionalism, to be held July 6-10 in Quito, Ecuador, is offering scholarships covering enrollment fees and on-campus accommodation of selected Vi members. The school offers a bilingual programme aimed at supporting PhD students and other young researchers through a series of lectures by leading senior academics and tutorial sessions to discuss their research.

Applications must be sent by May 31.

La Cuarta Cuarta Escuela Doctoral sobre Regionalismo Latinoamericano, Europeo y Comparado que se llevará a cabo del 6 al 10 de julio en Quito, Ecuador, otorgará becas para solventar los gastos de colegiatura y alojamiento de los participantes seleccionados miembros del Instituto Virtual. La escuela ofrece un programa bilingüe busca apoyar a los estudiantes de Ph.D y otros jóvenes investigadores por medio de cátedras dictadas por académicos experimentados y sesiones de tutoría para discutir sus trabajos de investigación.

Candidaturas serán aceptadas hasta el 31 de mayo.

The Haute Ecole de Gestion de Genève is accepting applications for its Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), headed by Vi online course on trade and poverty co-author, Nicolas Depetris Chauvin. The four-semester programme will kick off in September.

Altough the programme does not offer financial support directly, interested candidates may apply for scholarships through the Swiss government.

Applications for the EMBA must be submitted by June 30.

Vi associate member, Antonio Hernandez Padron, anuncia la apertura del diplomado de inglés tecnico-comercial maritimo portuario de la Universidad de la Habana, Cuba.

El programa, de una duración de 10 semanas, tiene como objetivo responder a las necesidades de actualización y  perfeccionamiento del conocimiento del idioma inglés técnico y  comercial de los profesionales portuarios.
