THIRTEENTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENTAL, CULTURAL, ECONOMIC & SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 19-21 January 2017 http://onsustainability.com/niteroiconference-2017 CALL FOR PAPERS The Thirteenth International Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic & Social Sustainability will be held in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 19-21 January 2017. The conference is hosted in partnership with the On Sustainability Knowledge Community, Niterói City Administration, Fluminense Federal University, and the Biomass and Water Management Research Center (NAB). We invite proposals for paper presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, posters/exhibits, virtual lightning talks, virtual posters, or colloquia addressing one of the following themes: Theme 1: Environmental Sustainability Theme 2: Sustainability in Economic, Social, and Cultural Context Theme 3: Sustainability Policy and Practice Theme 4: Sustainability Education CONFERENCE SUBMISSION DEADLINES We welcome the submission of proposals to the conference at any time of the year before the final Late Proposal Deadline (see below). All proposals will be reviewed within two to four weeks of submission. The dates below serve as a guideline for proposal submission based on our corresponding registration deadlines. *Advanced Proposal Deadline – 19 March 2016 * Early Proposal Deadline – 19 June 2016 Regular Proposal Deadline – 19 October 2016 Late Proposal Deadline – 19 December 2016 A COLLECTION OF JOURNALS The On Sustainability Journal Collection consists of four journals and an annual review. The On Sustainability Journal Collection encourages the widest range of submissions and aims to foster the highest standards of intellectual excellence. Articles may be submitted by in-person and virtual participants as well as Community Members.
