Greetings from CMDR, Dharwad.
I am happy to introduce the Centre for Multi-disciplinary Development Research (CMDR), Dharwad, which is one of the national level research institutes funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi and Government of Karnataka, Bangalore. The aims and objectives of the Centre include, among others, conducting research on various facets of socio-economic development including health and education, decentralised planning, unorganised sector, environmental and tobacco related issues, water resources, regional disparities, etc.
It gives me a great pleasure to invite you to Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) & Other Rural Development Schemes : Is there a 'DESIRED' Change to the Marginalized Groups? Scheduled on 31st January & 1st February 2017 at CMDR. The proposed seminar is being organized in collaboration with Department of Economics, Karnatak University, Dharwad and Rani Channamma University, Belagavi
I also take this opportunity to invite you to contribute a paper on any recent issues, policies and challenges relating to MGNREGA or any other Rural Development Scheme. After the seminar a Committee would select scholarly contribution for inclusion in the Edited Volume which is being planning for publication.
I would be grateful if you can kindly circulate this among interested faculty and scholars for participation and presentation of papers in the seminar.
CMDR would provide round trip II AC train fare and local hospitality to those whose papers would be shortlisted for the seminar.
